Who is responsible
Riverina Saddlery ABN:16242522715 is the entity responsible for personal information collected through this site and our workshops in Wagga Wagga and Cootamundra.
What we collect
We collect only what we need to run the business:
- Contact details — name, email, phone number and shipping/billing address when you order, book a repair or request a custom quote.
- Order details — items purchased, sizing information for custom builds, horse and rider notes you choose to share.
- Payment information — handled by our payment processor Stripe. We receive a confirmation and the last four digits of the card, never the full number.
- Site usage data — pages viewed, device type, referring site and approximate location, collected through Google Analytics.
How we use it
Personal information is used to process and ship your order, quote and build custom saddles, answer enquiries, manage warranty and repairs, send transactional emails, and — if you opt in — share workshop updates and new releases.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with trusted providers who help us operate, including:
- Payment processing — Stripe
- Website hosting & ecommerce — Venrta IP & WooCommerce
- Shipping carriers — Australia Post, StarTrack
- Analytics — Google Analytics
- Regulators or law enforcement when legally required
Cookies
Our site uses cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember preferences and measure traffic. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site (such as checkout) may not work properly.
How long we keep it
We keep order and tax records for at least 5 Years as required by Australian law. Marketing contacts are retained until you unsubscribe. Custom-build files (measurements, fitting notes) are kept for the life of the saddle to support warranty and future re-fitting.
Security
Customer data is stored with reputable Australian and global providers using encryption in transit (HTTPS) and access controls. No online service can be guaranteed 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your information and notify you of any eligible data breach as required by law.
Your choices & rights
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Email info@mathewmurray.com.au and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Children
Our products are intended for adult riders. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date at the top will always reflect the current version. Material changes will be notified by email or a notice on this page.
